Ionospheric Dispersion Dynamic Simulation Method of Satellite-ground Radio Links

2019
Ionosphere is an important part of the satellite-ground radio links, and dispersive characteristic is the most important factor affecting the radio wave propagation in the background ionosphere. A method is presented to simulate dynamic ionospheric dispersive characteristic. In the method, according to the simulated scenario, the dynamic total electron content(TEC) of the satellite-ground links is calculated by the NeQuick2 ionosphere electron density model. Based on the nonlinear phase time-varying filtering system, the nonlinear phase distortion of the wideband signal caused by dispersion is realized. The simulation results show that this method has high approximation accuracy. It's a real-time simulation method to design and implement easily.
