Optical sensing device capable of detecting infrared and visible light simultaneously

2011
The invention discloses an optical sensing device which comprises an image sensor, a close range detecting unit and a visible light detecting unit. The image sensor comprises a first pixel and a second pixel. A first optical coating and a second optical coating cover the first pixel. The first optical coating is used to block the light whose wavelength is out of a first predetermined scope. The second optical coating is used to block the light whose wavelength is out of a second predetermined scope. The close quarter detecting unit can acquire an infrared electronic signal according to a first exposure quantity caused on the first pixel and by the light after passing through the first optical coating and the second optical coating. The visible light detecting unit can acquire a visible-light electronic signal according to a difference of a second exposure quantity and the first exposure quantity or a proportion of the second exposure quantity to the first exposure quantity caused by the light on the second pixel.
