Anesthetic effects by applying Fentanyl plus Propofol and Propofol alone in painless gastroscopy

Objective To evaluate the anesthetic effects and safety of Propofol plus Fentanyl and Propofol alone used in painless gas-troscopy. Method Total 130 patients underwent gastroscopy were divided into two groups at random.GroupⅠ(n=62) was anaesthetized by injecting Propofol only(2～2.5 mg/kg);groupⅡ(n=68) was anaesthetized by injecting Fentanyl(0.05 mg) closely followed by the application of Propofol(1～2 mg/kg).The HR,Bp,SpO_2,satisfaction degree and adverse pharmacological effects before,during and 5 min after gastroscopy were recorded.Results It was showed that cases in groupⅠhad statistical differences in Bp,dose of Propofol and anesthetic effects with groupⅡ(P0.05).Conclusion Propofol plus Fentanyl has much better pharmacological effects compared with Propofol only applied to painless gastroscopy.
