The Advanced Photon Source—where we are and where we are going

Abstract The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Advanced Photon Source (APS) at Argonne National Laboratory enters its fifteenth year of user operations as a highly productive facility. In order to sustain this nation's position at the technology frontier, DOE-BES has proposed to upgrade the APS.
