Effect on the continue nursing intervention by carrying PTCD tube

Objective To explore the continue nursing intervention in patients with hospital carry PTCD tube application effect. Methods Select panyu center hospital from May 2013 to May 2014 carry 60 patients with PTCD tube out of the hospital, were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, respectively to the telephone follow-up and continue nursing intervention. Scores by self-evaluation of anxiety scale (SAS) and its complications as the main index, the patient back to the hospital visit to evaluate intervention effects. Results The experimental group after intervention SAS score (45.87±5.52) is significantly lower than the control group (50.87±7.22), (t=3.01, P< 0.01), and the incidence of complications was significantly lower than control group (P< 0.05). Conclusions The continue nursing can relieve anxiety after patients discharged from hospital, reduce the complications and improve the quality of life.
