First tests of the gaseous pixel chamber fabricated on a ceramic substrate

Abstract The excellent properties of the gaseous pixel chamber have been previously described. We present here the first results from a pixel chamber built on ceramic substrate instead of Kapton. The advantages of this construction technique will also be discussed.
