A bibliography of works that can be regarded as by Daniel Defoe, or are probably by him. It includes some 270 works, presenting full bibliographical details, information about the date of publication, locations, and a commentary giving a brief synopsis of the work; a discussion of the reasons for assigning it to Defoe; a brief account of its subsequent publication history; and details of any contemporary responses.
