Tuning of coherent interaction in a resonant photonic crystal using an external electric field

We demonstrate the tunablity of coherent interaction between exciton-lattice-polaritons and photonic crystal bandedge states in a GaAs/Al 0.22 Ga 0.78 As double-quantum-well based photonic crystal in the presence of a variable external electric field.
