A Comparative Study of Career Interest between Ethnic High School and General High School Students

A survey was made through questionnaire by using Jim Barrett' career interest survey test among 618 high school students in Qinghai ethnic regions about their career interest.The results show that 1) the types of students' career interest follows the order of experimental,literal,organizational,artistic,commercial,social and natural;and 2) there are significant differences,though in different degrees,in career interest types between students of the same grade from ethnic and general high schools,between students of different genders at the same school,and between Tibetan students from different schools.Students' differences in career interest types and the causes are also analyzed in this paper.
