Extraction of Berberis geteropoda Pigment and it's Physical and Chemical Characters

This essay focuses on the extraction of Berberis heteropoda pigment with different impregnants the influences that different pH condition and different mentalion take on the Berberis heteropoda pigment's stability as well as that oxidizer and reducing agent take on its stability. The results indicated that 40% ethanol and water can dissolve Berberis heteropoda pigment better the pigment is stable in acidic condition iron ion can increase the absorbency of the pigment the influences of reducing agent is greater than oxidizer's. By the study of the physical and chemicla characters of the pigment it showed that the pigment has a great practical prospect on things as cosmetic foodstuff dyestuff and beverage.
