Writing Qualitative Inquiry and Other Impossible Journeys

In this essay I consider the challenges of asserting one’s subjectivity in a postmodern context. I offer that though to do so is a contested endeavor, writing qualitatively helps render lives coherent and meaningful especially when confronting a world that is often brutal, hostile, and dehumanizing.
