RECENT EVOLUTION OF SOME AGROCLIMATIC INDICES IN TRANSYLVANIA - THE ISSUE OF CLIMATE CHANGE

The agroclimatic indices GSL, LSF and DD0 were considered relevant for orchard cultures in Transylvania. Their behavior was investigated for the period 1976-2004, for a number of seven meteorological stations. The daily data series on which the indices were computed were validated using wavelet analysis. Results show a very high correlation between the series, thus we conclude that the region studied has same climate. Generally no climatic regime change is observed, except for one station where the LSF systematically occurs earlier.
