33S n.m.r.: A tool for analysis of petroleum oils

Abstract To study structural features of sulphur compounds in petroleum fractions, 33 S spectra of selected sulphones were recorded and the range of chemical shifts as a function of their structure was determined. The first 33 S spectra of preoxidized low boiling oil distillates are also reported.
