Information preferences of women with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).

e20585 Background: In 2013 Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) began a comprehensive needs assessment of women with TNBC. Methods: LBBC fielded an online 80-question survey from November 25, 2013-January 10, 2014 to determine education and support needs of women with TNBC. Women with other breast cancer subtypes were included to allow for comparison; subtypes were self-reported. Respondents were asked for their preferences for tailored information. TNBC respondents were asked to rate the difficulty of finding TNBC-specific informational resources as “not all easy,” “somewhat easy,” “easy,” or “very easy.” Additionally, women with TNBC were asked what sources they used to find TNBC-specific information. Simple logistic regression was used for the analysis. Results: A total of 2,610 responses were analyzed: 656 (25.1%) identified as TNBC and 1,954 (74.9%) as non-TNBC.
