Moreover, the fact that selective peroxynitrite decomposition catalysts act on peroxynitrite alone, whereas dual manganese superoxide dismutase mimetics and peroxynitrite decomposition catalysts eliminate both peroxynitrite and potentially beneficial superoxide ions, was not clearly indicated in Figure 4.
