The hyperfine fields of 57Fe at the A and B sites in copper ferrite (CuFe2O4)

Abstract The Mossbauer spectrum of tetragonal CuFe 2 O 4 consists of two six-line patterns. The local magnetic fields, the electric quadrupole interaction, and the isomer shifts were determined. The patterns can be unambiguously assigned to the A and B sites of the crystal structure.
