General aspects and applications of the photosensitive polymeric materials are mentioned in the Introduction of this review, and in some more detail on photosensitive polymeric imaging systems (photopolymers), describing the general process of image formation. In following sections a review-study on photochemical transformations and techniques that take place in the production of printing plates (graphic arts) and photoresists (electronic industry) is carried out.
