A gas-adsorbing device (104) which comprises a gas adsorbent (106), a gas-barrier vessel (105) having an internal space where the gas adsorbent (106) has been disposed, and a film (108) which includes a gas-barrier layer and with which the opening of the gas-barrier vessel (105) has been hermetically closed. Due to such configuration, in which a gas adsorbent having a high gas-adsorbing ability is used, the gas-adsorbing ability can be heightened and the high gas-adsorbing performance can be maintained over a longer period. This gas-adsorbing device can be inexpensively provided with satisfactory productivity.
