Influence ofMagnetization Characteristics on Electromagnetic ForceAnalysis

This paperevaluates theinflu¬ ence on electromagnetic force analysis ofthe difference between themagnetization charac¬ teristic usedforcalculation andthereal char¬ acteristic. The electromagnetic forceis calculated byMaxwell's stress tensor method andthevirtual magnetic charge method. The magnetic field usedinthese methods isana¬ lyzed byFEM,using amagnetization charac¬ teristic. Comparison oftheresults calculated using a magnetization characteristic and those calculated using thetransformed char¬ acteristics showsthattheinfluence ofthe magnetization characteristic issmallatlow reluctivity, andisindependent ofthefineness oftheFEM mesh.Inaddition, thereislittle difference between methods forcalculating theelectromagnetic force withregard tothe influence ofthemagnetization characteristic.
