A method of coating an equipment or element of canalisaion carrying gaseous oxygen

A method of manufacturing a device or an element of a steel equipment or a steel alloy, suaceptible to be contacted with oxygen under pressure during use wherein there is provided a coating by thermal spraying of spray material selected from nickel, copper and alloys thereof on at least a portion of the surface of said element or equipment so as to obtain at least one coating layer on said surface of a thickness of equal to 5 mm.
