Impfstoffe: Akzeptanz und Sicherheit.

2009
As a result of decreasing willingness to be vaccinated some diseases, which seemingly had been eradicated, may reappear. One example forthis is the increase of measles cases in the United Kingdom sincethe 1990s after a decrease of immunization rate in response to asubsequently dicredited publication suggesting a link between thetriple measles, mumps and rubella vaccine and autism. As the incidenceof vaccine preventable diseases decreases, vaccine safety dominatespersonal risk-benefit analysis. To deal with such concerns thisreview discusses pre- and post-licensing procedures controllingvaccine safety, taking HPV vaccination as well as vaccination againstrotavirus as examples.
