Study on Hoisting and Handling Steel Plate by Electromagneto Chucks

This paper presents an analysis aiming at the problems existed in hoisting and handling steel plate by magnetic chucks adopted by current mechanical manufacturing industry.It is proposed that to hoist and transport steel plate by adopting electromagnetic chuck is a firmly ideal and reliable method on power economy.
