Inducing rabbit bone marrow stem cells into osteoblast in vitro

Objective To induce rabbit bone marrow stem cells(BMSCs) into osteoblast in vitro.Methods Rabbit BMSCs were cultured in vitro and induced to osteoblasts.The biologic characters of the osteoblasts were tested.Results The osteoblast in a conditioned medium could be induced from BMSCs,which secreted ALP and showed calcific nodules staining positive and red fluorescence of F-actin under congocal laser scanning microscope.Conclusion BMSCs can be induced successfully to osteoblast in vitro,which may be hopeful to be used as an ideal seed cells for bone tissue engineering.
