Low frequency voltage fluctuations in electrical vehicle-grid system based on Luenberger-observer's multivariable control

2017
Vehicle-grid system voltage fluctuation frequently occurred when multiple EMUs are put into operation simultaneously. The phenomenon often lead serious voltage distortions, even bring about electrical locomotives traction blockades. Aiming at this phenomenon, the Luenberger observer's multivariable control strategy (LOMC) is adopted on CRH3 electric multiple units (EMUs) in this paper. First of all, the LOMC main structure is deduced and researched. Secondly, the main part of the control system can be deduced by mathematical method to obtain the optimal control parameters. Thirdly, established the state space model and calculated the feedback matrix. At last, the vehicle-grid system simulation model and tested simulation are established by putting parameters into the model. It is proved that the LOMC has better dynamic characteristics and effectively reduce fluctuation of the traction network.
