Modeling of Infrared Radiation Drying Traction Engine Insulation by Energy Balance Equation

2021
Abstract The article describes the proposed way of applying the energy balance equation to simulate the drying of traction engines using infrared radiation through the gradual implementation of simulation, refining model parameters at each stage. This allows one to select the optimal parameters of the design and operation modes of hardware systems of the accelerated drying of thermal insulation efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy. One of the simplest approaches to mathematical models from the point of view of machine computing calculations is to compose a differential energy balance equation. However, this approach reduces the accuracy of the results due to the assumptions that are used in the process of creating mathematical models. To solve this problem, a new approach based on multi-structural dynamic mathematical models is proposed. The developed model allows one to determine the temperature of the conductor and polymer insulation heating, taking into account the specified properties. The application of the Matlab Simulink software module facilitates this process by increasing only the number of blocks.
