ANGULAR ANISOTROPY OF THE $gamma$-QUANTA ACCOMPANYING U$sup 235$ FISSION

The angular anisotropy of gamma -radiation emitted in fission of U/sup 235/ induced by thermal neutrons is determined. It is found that (12 plus or minus 2)% more gamma -quanta are emitted in the direction of movement of the fragments than in the perpendicular direction. (auth)
