Efecto de una vacuna recombinante anti-LH sobre la espermatogénesis murina prepuberal

2020
The population control of certain animal species has been a topic of great interest for many years worldwide. For this reason, a technique called immunocontraception has been investigated as an alternative strategy to the traditional surgical castration technique. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of a recombinant anti-LH vaccine for immunocontraception in rodents, as well as the characteristics of testicular tissue at the histopathological level and the behavior of vaccinated animals. The animals were injected subcutaneously with 100 μL of recombinant anti-LH vaccine, which contains a conjugate of an LH sequence and an incomplete Freund's adjuvant immunogenic vector protein (KLH).
