According to the operation method of the mobile terminal, activation or semi-limitation is conducted on the image units on the screen through switch operation, namely, the visible but inoperable condition and the visible and operable condition of the image units are switched, the concept that the visible condition and the operable condition are separated is defined, the unique operation experience and the unique visual experience are provided for the user, corresponding function expansion can further be conducted on the basis, and therefore the user experience is improved.
