Magnesium-calcium ratios in calcified and non-calcified cataractous lenses: A preliminary report

1973
Abstract In a study of calcified and non-calcified human cataractous lenses, the magnesium-calcium ratio was found to be higher in the non-calcified lenses. This finding is in accord with a mechanism proposed for the calcification of skeletal tissue.
