Cross-linking agent for textile printing fixing agent

1995
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a formaldehyde-free cross-linking agent stable on storage and useful for a printing paste capable of producing a woven fabric print having high color fastness by processing. SOLUTION: This method for printing a woven fabric with an aqueous dispersion comprises cross-linking an organic fixing agent with a blocked polyisocyanate having (I) 800-25,000 average molecular weight, (II) 5-20 wt.%; of blocked NCO groups calculated as a free NCO and based on non-blocked polyisocyanate, (III) 1-75 milliequivalents of ionic groups per 100 g of the blocked polyisocyanate and (IV) 1-20 wt.% content of polyalkylene oxide units based on the blocked polyisocyanate and obtained by reacting (a) an organic polyisocyanate with (b) an isocyanate-reactive compound containing (potential) ionic groups, (c) a polyalkylene ether alcohol, (d) an NCO blocking agent and (e) optionally, an NCO-reactive compound that is different from the components (b), (c) and (d).
