Carboxymethyl cellulose grafted copolymer emulsion for humidity-adjusting coating and preparation method thereof

2012
The invention relates to a carboxymethyl cellulose grafted copolymer emulsion for a humidity-adjusting coating and a preparation method thereof. The emulsion is made with raw materials by the following parts: 1-50 part(s) of carboxymethyl cellulose, 1-20 part(s) of crylic acid, 1-50 part(s) of butyl acrylate, 1-50 part(s) of methyl methacrylate, 1-10 part(s) of initiating agent and deionized water. The mass ratio of the deionized water and carboxymethyl cellulose is 5: 1 to 15:1. The carboxymethyl cellulose grafted copolymer emulsion is the main film-forming material of the coating. The coating prepared by compounding of the carboxymethyl cellulose grafted copolymer emulsion and typical pigments and fillers has excellent water absorption performance, water retention performance, water resistance, permeability and anti-frosting and anti-condensation performance, and can be used in coating of interior walls of buildings. Moreover, the coating has a humidity-adjusting performance.
