Radon measurements and subsoil structure: a preliminary study

1988
Abstract A radon survey has been carried out in Costa Rica in order to ascertain the existence of a suspected active fault along the Navarro river valley. A network of 28 measuring stations using SSNTD has been installed and the monitoring lasted for 1.5 year; which allows to take care of the environmental effects. From the structural point of view, the analysis of the data strongly suggests that the fault system is a complex one.
