Research on fuzzy logic control strategy for hybrid electric vehicles

The operation mode of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle can be separated into two segments,namely charging depleting mode and charging sustaining mode.On this basis,a fuzzy logic control strategy is put forward based on torque distribution.The vehicle model is established under the Matlab/Simulink environment to evaluate the proposed control strategy under different driving scenario.The simulation results indicate that under the premise that the road condition and mileage are known,the vehicle charging depleting range can approach the total driving range and also ensure the engine operating in the high efficiency region to get better fuel economy.
