An Imitation Game

In early April of 2015, a man in his late sixties, Senor Roncha, came into my office complaining of rashes and itchy skin. He had throbbing inflammation in his hands, which pointed to a bad allergy, and he was convinced he had developed a reaction from some of the plants around his house. He came in during the peak of allergy season, and everything appeared to be routine until I discovered he had been experiencing these symptoms since January—nearly 4 months ago!
