Temperature and frequency - dependent dielectric studies of Sr2Ir0.9V0.1O4

2020
Sr2IrO4, 5d-transition metal oxides, has very interesting and unique properties which comes in perovskite-based layered compounds. The structural distortion plays an important role in this material and also after doping at Ir - site, the distortion present in system will be affected with doped elements which can lead very interesting properties of this system. Both Ir4+ and V4+ have comparable ionic radii so there is no phase change and impurity is coming. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss decreased with increase in frequency. This system is also showing the thermally activated conduction.
