Research on Vehicle Overloading Influenced to Roadbed

Vehicle overloading is ubiquitous in Chinese highway transportation. Roadbed of the highway destroyed severity under the move loading of the overloading vehicle. Simplifying vehicle loads as equivalent static concentrated load, established analysis model. Using Boussinesq solution and layer-wise summation method, analyzed infection degree of the roadbed's load influence depth under the vehicle loading. Based on the engineer practice, it is concluded that roadbed's influence deep is 6.0∼14.0m in the condition of overloading, otherwise it is about 6.0∼8.0 m, the influential depth of vehicle loads increased as parabola with the increase of overloading degree of vehicle.
