Analysis on correlation between embryonic development and the serum level of six kinds of hormone in the early stage of pregnancy

2014
Objective To investigate the correlation between embryonic development and the serum levels of six kinds of hormones, including follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),progesterone (Po),free estriol (uE3),free β-human chorionic gonadotropin (Fβ-HCG) and testosterone (T),which were detected from the women with 6-8 weeks of pregnancy. Methods Serum hormone levels of two groups were detected with electrochemiluminescence and time-resolved fluoroimmunoassay.Normal pregnancy group included 106 cases and abnormal pregnancy group included 94 cases. Results The serum levels of Po,Fβ-HCG and uE3 in normal pregnancy group were significantly higher than those of the abnormal pregnancy group (P < 0.05),and they also raised gradually with the increase of gestational weeks (P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference of the two groups in the serum levels of FSH,LH,T and they did not raise with the increase of gestational weeks (P > 0.05).Conclusion Reduction of the serum levels of Po and Fβ-HCG will influence the maintenance of early pregnancy, while normal serum levels of uE3 will be benefit for it.Low serum levels of FSH,LH and T do not influence the early embryonic development and the pregnant outcome.
