Analysing power of the elastic N−3He scattering

The analysing power for the elastic n−3He scattering has been measured at 3.7, 10.0, 15.3 and 22.0 MeV using collimated polarised neutron beams from the Bochum neutron collimator. A very accurate measurement was done using a superconducting solenoid, a liquid 3He scintillator as well as multiparameter data acquisition. The results at 22.0 MeV disagree considerably with older data. A new phase shift analysis shows no resonant behaviour for energies from 15 to 22 MeV.
