There is no denying that black characters play a pivotal role in Faulkner’s novels.The study of the three novels written in three different periods aims to find the general change of the writer’s inward development in dealing with his Black subjects.By analyzing the Blacks characters in his works,we can discover that Faulkner’s attitude towards the Blacks’ was changing.Under the influence of combined social,historical,cultural,political and family forces of his own time,Faulkner’s view to the Blacks changes correspondingly.
