Ameloblastic fibroma conservative treatment in children

2013
Objetives: Achieve nasal squamous cell carcinoma implants in experimental animals and evaluating the effectiveness of an antiangiogenic drug called Acriflavine (ACF) to inhibit tumour progression in animal model check antiangiogenic effect of other kinds of antiangiogenic drugs like Fenol Derivatives comparing with ACF in vitro. Assessing ACF in vivo by tumour histology. Materials and methods: We assess the effect of ACF and phenol derivates, in vitro, on the proliferation of tumor cells. We studied the effect of ACF in experimental animals, 19 rats. Results: ACF inhibits the proliferation of the squamous cell carcinoma in vitro if we compare with fenol derivatives by the absorbance at 595 nm tecnic and decreases the tumour progression in rats by inhibition the angiogenesis. Also, this antiangiogenic drug shows histologically a decrease in the number of blood vessels and increase in apoptosis compared with those who were not treated. Conclusions: Antiangiogenic drugs likeACFcould be an alternative treatment for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
