A cultura de avaliação em construção

Understanding Institutional Evaluation as a process and constantly counting on the participation of the Academic Community, PUC-Campinas has been constructing during the course of the last 21 years its evaluation culture. The results obtained constitute the basis for elaborating the Pedagogical Project of the University. This has led to a series of seminars and events along these lines, and has blossomed into an awareness about this current problem in undergraduate and graduate education. With the creation of the Central Commission of Institutional Evaluation, evaluation has become a part of the day-by-day routine of the University. Its findings are communicated and discussed in the 38 Departments of the University. Reciprocal relations were established with other undergraduate Commissions and Coordinating Organs. The stages of institutional evaluation planned for the period 2003-2007 are part of the Plan for Institutional Development of the University.
