Numerical Simulation of Expendable Process Casting of Ferrite-ductile Iron Pipes

In order to improve the quality of the ferrite-ductile iron pipes in Taojiang,Xinxing Ductile Pipes Co.,Ltd.,The expendable process castingprocess was simulated r,which included simulation and analysis of mold filling process,solidification process and the forecast of shrinkage and shrinkage porosity.The positions where the defects were easily to occur were found through simulation,which is in accordance with the case of practice.The defects were eliminated effectively by adopting modified measures.
