Using biogas to fuel DG and CHP plants

Integrated gasification combined-cycle plants aren't alone in their ability to gasify a solid fuel and burn it to produce power. Anaerobic digesters, working in concert with a distributed generation or combined heat and power plant, can produce electricity and/or thermal energy from solid waste. The economic and environmental benefits of doing so can be substantial.
