Crown cage for a rolling bearing, and method for its preparation

The invention concerns a crown retainer (1) for a rolling bearing comprising an annular base body (2), from which a number of holders (3) for rolling bodies (4), each holder (3) is formed as a portion of the the rolling bodies (4) only partially covers and leaves it via a peripheral portion unumfasst. In order to make such a cage for use at high speeds better fit, the invention provides that the basic body (2) has an equal number of reinforcing tabs (5) to the number of holders (3), each reinforcing plate (5) with the is material region (6) of the crown retainer (1) between two supports (3) at least partially connected. The invention further relates to a method for producing such a cage.
