In the research work on: MUSIC AS A METHODOLOGY FOR TEACHINGLEARNING DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN FROM 2 TO 3 YEARS OLD AT THE PEKES BARRIO STATION PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF LOJA, PERIOD 2017-2018, the following general objective was proposed: : know if music as a methodology helps the development of teaching learning of children from 2 to 3 years. The methods used in the development of the field work were: scientific, inductive, deductive, analytical and statistical; the techniques used were: direct observation of boys and girls in the classroom, audiovisual room and school playground; the survey of teachers and parents; and as instruments the checklist. The population investigated was 15 girls and boys. After the analysis carried out, it is shown that 40% of teachers sometimes use music to motivate children in their daily activities and improve the teaching-learning process. Regarding the checklist, it is established that 38.50% of infants are in the process of obtaining better learning using music as a fundamental element, which led to the development of the didactic guide with activities developed over two months, which established that 81.50% obtained a better learning using music as a learning strategy. Regarding parents, 100% indicate that their children like music. The main conclusion is that music as a methodological tool is effective for the development of the teaching-learning process, so it is recommended to use it in the daily work of the teacher.
