다공성 탄소를 이용한 PCBs의 흡착

2011
??Adsorption of Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) using Porous Carbons was evaluated. Polychlorinated biphenyls, which consist of 209 congeners with different numbers and positions of chlorine atoms on a biphenyl nucleus, were commercially produced from 1929 to the mid-1970s and used all over the world mainly as lubricants and coolants in transformers, capacitors, and other electrical equipment. This study of adsorption of PCBs in transformer oil on granular activated carbon(GAC), powder activated carbon(PAC) and synthetic porous carbons were experimentally investigated in batch reactor. The results of porous carbons removed above 80 to 30% of PCBs in Transformer oil. The Porous carbons sistem offers simple, safe, and inexpensive degradation method of PCBs under mild reaction condition.
