NCMA PIKES PEAK CHAPTER

DCAA, in the past year, has dramatically changed the way it does business. DCAA's changes impact both industry and government contract administration. This presentation will discuss the background to DCAA's changes, including the July 2008 and September 2009 GAO reports that criticized DCAA's audit execution. Next, this presentation will highlight certain DCAA's changes, including increased focus on access to contractor personnel and records, internal control audits and price reasonableness. Further, advice will be offered on efforts industry and government personnel can take to successfully manage DCAA audits and achieve reasonable prices. Finally, this presentation will brief recent cost and pricing developments, including the new rule on airfare costs.
