Engineering practice education is an important contents of education and teaching in mechanical specialty, and experimental teaching plays a vital role in acquiring a better understanding of the theoretical knowledge of the course and cultivating their engineering practice ability for students. However, due to the low correlation of the experimental content of each course, causing the discretization of knowledge system, which is not conducive for system to cultivate students' practical ability, and at the same time, it also affects students' learning initiative. To solve this problem, taking the comprehensive experiment of numerical control technology and tool angle measurement as an example, the experimental platform and experimental teaching link based on multidisciplinary knowledge fusion are designed, which can integrate the experimental contents of related courses in mechanical engineering well, and that can enable students to master related knowledge in mechanical engineering systematically and cultivate engineering practical ability. At the same time, it can also change students' learning styles from passive to active, and better improve students' ability to solve complex mechanical engineering problems.
