Real World Cognitive Multi-Tasking and Problem Solving: A Large Scale Cognitive Architecture Simulation Through High Performance Computing-Project Casie

2008
Abstract : In its grandest sense, Project CASIE explored the development of a computational system capable of high level perception and problem solving that reflects the cognitive processes of the human brain. Most specifically, it concentrated on better understanding and modeling intuition and insight in a computational fashion. The goal was to address the fundamental problem of modeling and solving communities of tasks from a cognitive point of view through multiple problem solving agents working cooperatively or competitively on different subtasks at multiple levels of granularity.
