Production of protein or polypeptide by industrial bacillus strain

PURPOSE: To efficiently produce a desired protein or polypeptide by using a transformed industrial Bacillus strain. CONSTITUTION: A transformed prototrophic industrial Bacillus strain resistant to phage infection and gene exchange or transformation, secreting DNase and producing ≥0.5% w/v of a secretory protein under industrial fermentation condition is grown in a proper nutrient medium. The transformed industrial Bacillus strain contains a DNA inserted in the form of a plasmid construction, a plasmid construction integrated in chromosome or its fragment and the construction contains a gene coding for the desired protein or polypeptide and a selection marker.
